 About Travel with Focus

A question I am often get asked is how long I have been RVing? It’s a challenging question to answer. I grew up in a family that always owned an RV. I have fond memories of the Cortez Motorhome, which belonged to my dad. It had a manual transmission, a feature you rarely see anymore. In the photo, you can see that he would take us on adventures in the RV, even driving us into the snow. My dad enjoyed collecting firewood, so he would usually tow a trailer filled with ATVs and equipment for cutting wood.

GMC Motorhome

After a few Cortez Motorhomes, my dad bought a GMC motorhome. The motorhome has front-wheel drive, so it was great in the snow. We would take it to Sun Valley to go skiing. I remember the heater going out; it got really cold inside that rig.

Current Motorhome

Although my dad is no longer with us, he instilled in me a deep passion for RVing that has become a cherished part of my life. Today, my family and I travel across the country in our Renegade Super C, a powerful and spacious motorhome that allows us to explore new places and create lasting memories together.

We’ve had incredible adventures, visiting stunning locations like the breathtaking landscapes of Washington State and the picturesque shores of Maine. Whether it’s hiking through national parks, discovering roadside attractions, or soaking in the beauty of nature, each trip brings a new experience filled with fun and learning.

I invite you to join us as we share our journey—documenting our travels, offering insights about the gear and equipment that enhance our RVing experience, and sharing practical tips for fellow adventurers. Additionally, I’ll feature some of our favorite recipes that we cook on the road, along with techniques for using a convection oven effectively in a small kitchen space. Let’s explore the world of RVing together!
